African Crested Porcupines are on the loose in Branson, according to a post by the Branson Police Department.

This is a bit of an unusual public safety alert:
Our Animal Control Officer was alerted that 2 African Crested Porcupines escaped their enclosure at a business near the Wal-Mart on W 76 Country Highway.
As with our “Be on the Lookout” announcements for the two legged versions of those BPD Officers are looking for, please do not approach or try to apprehend these unique creatures. Instead, contact 911 and trained professionals will respond to safely detain them.
