Branson Police Officer Abraham Jones received the Employee of the Month award during Tuesday evening’s Board of Aldermen meeting; Alderman Jamie Whiteis presented the award to Jones.
Whiteis said that Officer Jones was nominated for this award because of his “compassion to a Branson resident who is also an Army Veteran who had their trailer and mowing business equipment stolen.”
Whiteis added that Jones went “above and beyond.” Jones led efforts to find local businesses who would donate to the family and present it to them right before Christmas.
“This example of compassion and service to others is characteristic of how he operates every day,” Whiteis said.
