William “Eugene” Haase, age 67, passed away on March 9, 2026.
William “Eugene” Haase, age 67, of Wheaton, Missouri passed away Monday, March 9, 2026 at his home.
He was born September 26, 1958 in Joplin, Missouri, the son of William Andrew and Waunetta (Endicott) Haase. On July 28, 1980 in Pineville, Missouri he was united in marriage to Doris Pierce, who preceded him in death on February 18, 2025. Also preceding him in death were his parents; daughter, Chasity Donica; grandsons, Chevy Babb and Allen Donica; brothers, Ed, Donnie, J.D., Danny, and Charles and sisters, Barbara, Doris, Pat, and Alice.
Surviving are his sons, Andy Haase of Wheaton, Luke Haase of Wheaton and Cody Haase and Nancy of Wheaton; daughters, Melissa Hunsaker and Leland of Pryor, Oklahoma, Kim Crow and Daniel of Pryor, Oklahoma, Sam Babb and Ben of Cassville and Nikki Haase of Wheaton; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Eugene attended school in McDonald County, Missouri. He owned and operated Haase Masonry for 30 years and took great pride in his work. Eugene enjoyed fishing, reading western books, working crossword puzzles, watching Walker, Texas Ranger and spending time outdoors. In his younger years, he also enjoyed gardening. Above all, Eugene valued the simple joys of life and the time spent with those around him. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Hap Anders will conduct the services. Burial will be at Muncie Chapel Cemetery in Wheaton, Missouri.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until service time Wednesday at McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Contributions may be made to the family in memory of Eugene.
