Twila Ann Swick, age 87, passed away on March 17, 2026.

Please pray for my family as we have lost our family matriarch Twila Ann Swick at the age of 87 years old on March 17, 2026.

Twila was born on August 29, 1938 in Arkansas to Tom & Wilma Merritt. She married Buddy Swick on January 10, 1960 at Hopedale Baptist Church in Winchester, AR. 

Twila worked until she was 85 years old. She knew everyone, touched many hearts. She was in the womens auxiliary for Western Taney County Fire Protection District for many years.  She enjoyed going to the annual fireman's banquet for the past 20+years.  She would work the voting polls every year. She worked at Oakmont HOA greeting swimmers, and people working out, as well as campers. She was all about community service and her community. She loved her daughter, her grandkids and definitely absolutely fell in love with her great grandkids.

Twila is survived by her daughter, LaQuita Swick; grandsons, Steven Stults and Tyler Swick; and two great-grandchildren, Brantley and Kinsleigh, all who will deeply miss her.

Visitation for Twila will be Tuesday afternoon, March 31, 2026 from 3:00-4:00 pm in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory in Branson.  Graveside services will be Saturday, April 4, 2026 at 1:00 pm in Gobblers Knob Cemetery, Hollister.
