Patricia “Patty” Lee Coatney, 72, passed away on January 7, 2026.
Patricia “Patty” Lee Coatney, 72, of Flippin, Arkansas, passed away January 7, 2026. Patty was born January 2, 1953, in Willow Springs, Missouri, the daughter of Russell and Dollie Berry Woods.
Patty is predeceased by her parents and siblings; Thelma Jean Burmer, Otis Woods, Randy Woods, and grandson Michael Coatney.
Patty was a homemaker, that was where she shined. She loved her family and grandkids dearly. Her baking skills will be missed by many, and it was during the holiday seasons when Patty really put her baking skills to test with so many good and memorable dishes and desserts. Near the holidays if Patty wasn’t busy baking, she was watching some of her favorite Christmas programs which was something she looked forward to every year.
Patty was also a painter, and along with painting she was a crafter. There wasn’t much she couldn’t do once she put her mind to it.
Patty leaves her children; Harold Jr and Sharon Coatney of Flippin, Stephanie and Mark Snyder of Flippin and Tanya and Clint of Tennessee. She is also survived by sisters; Sue Means, Glenda Robertson, Deanne Galliger and brother Russ Woods. She also leaves several grandkids and great grandkids.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Diamond State Cremation located in Lead Hill, Arkansas.
