Jimmie Dale May, Sr., age 73, of Exeter, Missouri passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at Cox Monett Hospital in Monett, Missouri.
He was born April 28, 1951 in Ukiah, California the son of Robert Melvin and Teresa Myrtle (Mills) May. On September 28, 2017 in Reno, Nevada he was united in marriage to Debra J. Reil, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jimmie May, Jr. of Reno, Nevada, and Robert Manis; one daughter, Nona May of Antioch, California; one brother, Gene May of Red Bluff, California, and several grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Jimmie grew up and received his education in California. He was a union worker employed in the construction industry. He and Debra moved from California to the Exeter area five years ago. Jimmie enjoyed woodworking and being outdoors.
Services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
