James Brian Handley, age 69, Nixa, Missouri
James Brian Handley, age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Nixa, Missouri, on June 8, 2023, with his family at his side: son, Austin; daughter Amy; and brother, Robert. He was born in Menasha, Wisconsin, on February 6, 1954, the son of Jerry and Alice Handley.
The family moved to Springfield, Missouri, a few months later, where Jim grew up, graduating from Glendale High School and Draughon Business College. Jim made his career in sales and lived for a number of years in Colorado, relishing the outdoor life of campfires and music under the stars.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Carol Claxton. He is survived by son, Austin Handley; daughter, Amy Handley; brother, Robert Handley; grandchildren: Caleb, Olivia, Mackenzie, Aiden, and Chance; and many nieces and nephews.
