Colette Kathleen Windisch, age 85, of Branson, Missouri
Colette Kathleen Windisch, age 85, of Branson, Missouri, passed away January 8, 2023. She entered this life May 25, 1937, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Herman and Hazel (Fagen) Unger.
Colette started her professional career right out of school as a secretary for Illinois Bell Telephone Company, became a mother and a homemaker, went on to other work as a substitute teacher in Chicago, and volunteered at Skaggs in Branson, Missouri. She liked working the puzzle books and watching her T.V. shows when they were on air. She had a heart for others and will be greatly missed.
Colette is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Windisch IV; brother Ronald (Barbara) Unger; and brother, Gerard Unger.
Colette is survived by her son, Joseph Windisch of Branson, Missouri; brother, Dennis Unger of Chicago, Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
