Antionette “Annette” Anderson

Antionette “Annette” Anderson, age 78 , passed away on February 20, 2026.

Beloved Antionette “Annette” Anderson passed away suddenly on February 20, 2026.  Annette was born on April 1, 1947, to Cornelius and Anna (Vanderstappen) Mutsaers in Tilburg, Netherlands.  Annette grew up in a big family with bright visions that compelled them to migrate to the United States when she was twelve.   They put down roots in Utah where she would attend Ogden High School and later go on to serve in the medical field in Wichita, Ks. and Branson, Mo. She retired from Cox Medical Center Branson (Skaggs Hospital) as Director of Patient Access and Centralized Scheduling.

Annette’s life was enriched by her husband Bob Anderson whom she married on September 16, 1967, in Utah.  She was very proud to become a U.S. citizen. Her proudest achievement was becoming a mother to her son Troy.  Annette and Bob moved to the lakes area to be around the water and run Bob’s Bait and Tackle in Forsyth.  She loved being around people and treated everyone she met as part of her family. Annette and Bob built their family on love.  She valued her family beyond measure and spent her whole life making memories with them especially those that involved Troy and his shenanigans—these made her laugh the most.

Annette is survived by her loving husband Bob, son Troy Anderson and wife Bendie of Taneyville, two grandsons Bobby Sanderson (Amber); Ricky Sanderson (Chelsea); one granddaughter Suzanna Manship (Justin)  and their families whom she adored, eleven great-grandchildren, a very special great -granddog, a young man who became family in every way that mattered, Richard Fordyce; sisters Gerry DeCock (Ott), Elly McClain, Tilly Mutsaers,  and Mary Nelson. Annette will be deeply missed by all her extended family and community friends who affectionately called her “Oma”.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Bart and Bill, her sisters Josie and Maria and a great grand-daughter Tinsley Rae Sanderson.

A visitation will be held in Annette’s honor on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 4:00-6:00p.m. at Snapp-Bearden Forsyth Chapel in Forsyth, Missouri.
