The number of turf fields in the area paid off for several schools Tuesday as several games were played despite the rainy conditions.
The results however were not good for a pair of Lakes Area teams as both fell to defeat, Branson at home to Webb City 16-1 and in Springfield, Reeds Spring dropped a 4-3 decision at Hillcrest.
