A major College Baseball Tournament is being held in the Lakes Region this week.
Play opened on Monday in the National Christian College Athletic Association Independent Regional Tournament at Bob Smith Field at College of the Ozarks.
Nine teams including the second seeded Bobcats as well as top seed Baptist Bible College of Springfield are a part of the field.
The first day was tough for the Bobcats as they were upended by Ecclesia 7-2 and will plan an elimination game this morning against Grace Christian at Hollister High School.
