A Lakes Area 10 and under Baseball Team will represent the Midwest in a World Series Event in Florida next week.
The Central Ozarks team of Cal Ripken Baseball won the Midwest Regional Tournament last week in North Dakota which punched a ticket to the Cal Ripken 10 and Under World Series beginning August 5 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
The team, comprising of players from Branson and surrounding communities, has set-up an account for donations to help the team pay for the cost of the trip. More information on how to donate can be found on the Central Ozarks Cal Ripken Facebook Page.
