The South Central Ozark Council of Governments is offering a low interest water well drilling loan program for eligible homeowners needing water wells within its 7-county region which includes Ozark and Douglas Counties.

Eligibility and information pertaining to the low interest loan program includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Proof of property ownership & occupancy (no rental properties or contract for deed)
• Combined household income less than $65,000 per year
• Loan recipient must pay a minimum of $250 toward total project cost
• Ability to make payments at 4% interest rate
• Maximum loan amount is $15,000
