The Stone County Ambulance District marked an important milestone in its continued commitment to serving the community with a groundbreaking ceremony for its new headquarters on Thursday. The ceremony took place on the 4-acre parcel of land behind Branson West Marine and Powersports on Silver Spur Street in Branson West.

“The groundbreaking represents an exciting step forward for the Stone County Ambulance District as it prepares to establish a new headquarters designed to support its operations and enhance its ability to serve residents and visitors throughout the community,” Jeff Hawkins, Executive Director said.

District board members joined Hawkins and Andy Mackey, developer, for the ceremonial groundbreaking. With shovels in hand and hard hats on their heads, those involved celebrated the beginning of a project that represents both growth and a continued investment in the future of emergency medical services in Stone County.

“This groundbreaking is more than the start of construction—it represents our commitment to building a strong foundation for the future of the Stone County Ambulance District,” said Hawkins. “This new headquarters will help position the district to continue meeting the needs of the community for years to come."

The new facility will provide the district with a dedicated headquarters to support its personnel, operations and ongoing mission of providing emergency medical services when the community needs them most.

The Stone County Ambulance District expressed appreciation to its board members, project partners and community supporters who have helped bring the vision for the new headquarters to this important stage.

The groundbreaking ceremony officially signals the beginning of construction and a new chapter for the Stone County Ambulance District—one focused on continued growth, improved operational capabilities and a strong commitment to the health and safety of the communities it serves.
