An annual event in Reeds Spring is getting help from a local organization.

In a release, the Rotary Club of Table Rock Lake is donating $500 to help Shirley Mease put together the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner. 

Mease and her family started the dinner in 2009 to give a meal to people that didn't have a place to celebrate the holiday. This year's free event will be from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Reeds Spring Intermediate School Cafeteria.
