Operation Christmas Child will be hosting their “National Collection Week” starting Nov. 13, and they have announced multiple drop off locations throughout the Ozarks.
The program by Samaritan’s Purse has been collecting items for children around the world for 30 years, and have set a goal in their anniversary year of having enough shoeboxes for 11 million children.
Shoeboxes can be put together by anyone in the community, not just members of the churches hosting drop off locations. A step-by-step guide to creating a shoe box for the collection drive can be found at samaritanspurse.org.
