An Oklahoma woman is now facing charges as a result of a fatal pedestrian accident in Barry County last year.
According to online court documents, 27-year-old Jordan Arevalo is charged with a Felony Charge of Driving While Intoxicated Causing the Death of Another Person. On August 23, Arevalo was driving a vehicle on Highway J when she hit a pedestrian, who sustained serious injuries then died of those injuries two weeks later. Arevalo showed indications of impaired condition and later tested positive for intoxication.
A warrant has been issued for her arrest on a $100,000 Bond.
