The fifty first annual Northwest Arkansas Bluegrass Festival runs from Aug. 17 to Aug. 19, according to Larry Martin.
Martin appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" on Wednesday to talk about the event. Martin organized the festival and is part of a group called Unashamed. The Aug. 19 day is a matinee. The other days are $10 a night; Saturday's festival event is $12. Admission is free for kids 11 and under.
People can pay $25 for a three-day festival pass. Another important note: Attendees in an RV can call 870-715-7246 for more information about parking.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs. The annual event is held at Beacon Park now but began 52 years ago at the Fair Grounds. Martin highlighted the groups that will play; more was discussed on the broadcast.
The full interview with Martin is available on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
