Main Street in Nixa is flooding following a car striking and displacing a fire hydrant, according to a post on the Nixa government Facebook Page

"Nixa Police are investigating a crash where a car took out a fire hydrant on Main Street near the intersection with Aldersgate. Nixa Utilities water crews are working to turn off the resulting water leak and make repairs, but in the meantime, Main Street is being flooded with water and water customers on the north side of town may be without water for some period of time until repairs are completed this morning."
