The Branson Convention Center is under the leadership of a new general manager.
Angie Teel has taken the helm of the center, replacing Sam Voisin, who left in August to join entertainment and hospitality company Notes Live. Teel comes to Branson after serving as the general manager at the Cox Business Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma for the last five years.
While she’s not from the Ozarks, Teel has a strong connection to the area.
“I’m originally from St. Louis,” Teel said. “I came to school in Springfield at Missouri State and then moved back to St. Louis. I worked at the St. Charles Convention Center for a number of years and then I went to Tulsa.”
