The first fatality crash worked by Troop D of the Missouri State Highway Patrol takes place in the Lakes Region.
According to the report, the crash occurred on State Highway 39 10 miles south of Aurora when a Jeep went off the road and struck a tree.
The driver of the Jeep, a 62-year-old man from Miller, was pronounced dead at the scene by Barry County Coroner Gary Swearingin.
