The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District works on a major traffic crash in Branson West. 

According to a post on the district’s Facebook page, the multi-vehicle crash occurred around 11:00 Tuesday morning on Highway 13 near the south intersection with Business 13. On person was trapped in their vehicle and was extricated from the vehicle. That person sustained serious injuries and was flown to a Springfield Hospital for treatment.

The accident scene closed Highway 13 in that area for over an hour. 

The Branson West Police Department and Mercy Emergency Medical Services worked on the crash alongside fire personnel.
