UPDATE: Boone, Marion, Newton, and Searcy Counties have been added to the Flood Watch plus portions of Carroll County including Berryville and Green Forest are under a Flood Advisory into this evening.
According to the National Weather Service, scattered showers and storms are expected from southeast Oklahoma into northwest Arkansas in association with an area of low pressure aloft which could lead to rain over localized areas for long periods of time. The system is expected to track northeast through the northern Arkansas including Carroll and Madison Counties into Tuesday morning.
