Forbes has released their 2025 list of the Richest People in the United States and Bass Pro Shops founder and Ozarks native Johnny Morris fell from No. 1 to No. 2 on the list of richest Missourians because of an amazing jump from a St. Louis based tech mogul.

The magazine says Morris has an estimated net worth of $9.4 billion as of April 25, 2025, a slight dip from the $9.5 billion in 2024, which marked the high water mark of Morris’ estimated wealth to date.
