The below normal temperatures that brought a cool beginning to August are set to leave the Lakes Region in exchange for a return to hot, normal summertime conditions.
The National Weather Service says that temperatures will remain in the 80s today before approaching 90 degrees on Tuesday. By Wednesday, much of the region will be back into the 90s and getting into the mid to upper 90s by the end of the week.
No precipitation is in the forecast for the next seven days.
