Joel Hornickel, the City of Branson's Director of Planning and Development the past seven years, is stepping down in December to accept a position with a golf course architect company.
Hornickel, who first joined the City in 2009 as a Senior Planner working on the City's 2030 Comprehensive Plan, announced his resignation this week effective December 7. Staff Planner Jacob Phillips will take over on an interim basis after that while the City conducts a search for Hornickel's replacement.
