A traffic crash near the Ozark/Howell County Line in southcentral Missouri kills a Taney County Woman.
According to the report filed by Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 80-year-old resident of Forsyth was driving her car on Highway 142 east of Bakersfield Thursday afternoon when she drove off the right side of the roadway and and struck a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Howell County Coroner Tim Cherry.
This is the 19th fatality in accidents worked by Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2025.
