Taney County Voters can go to the polls today to decide on the continuation of the Sewer Sales Tax.
The tax, first past in 1993 and then renewed in 2000, is a Sales Tax that is administered by the Taney County Regional Sewer District and has funded many projects over the years with a Master Plan for more projects in the planning stages. The renewal of the tax would be for 25 years.
Voters in Merriam Woods have a second issue to vote on as city officials are asking voters to approve a temporary increase in the Property Tax to help fund road improvements.
Polls are open until 7:00 tonight. Results will be posted online.
