Southern Stone County Firefighters extinguish a blaze on a boat dock Thursday afternoon.
According to a Facebook post from the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, around 1:30 units responded to the scene of the dock floating near the Kimberling City Bridge. Fire Boat 6160 was able to grab hold of the dock and bring it ashore at Mill Creek Boat Ramp where firefighters were able to put out the fire.
According to Public Information Officer Paul O'Neal, the dock was believed to be under repair. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
