Crane volunteers help beautify the town

Volunteers help bring some beauty to Crane streets.

The volunteers under the organization of Margie McGee, from Discover Crane Inc and Helping Hands of Stone Soup, spent Wednesday, May 29 planting flowers in the city’s perennial planter pots. In 2022, the city received a grant to purchase the planters.

“A special thank you to our volunteer City Hall Perennial Pot tenders,” City of Crane, Missouri’s Facebook post. “These perennial pots were purchased with a grant from the White River Valley Electric Cooperative in 2022. They were designed to be drought tolerant and low maintenance.  They did need some tending this year.”

There were four volunteers taking time to plant flowers in the pots lining the streets of Crane.
