A town hall meeting to hear from proponents of further conserving the Buffalo National River area has been moved to a new location.
The meeting, organized by the Remnants Project and scheduled for October 26, has been moved from the Carroll Electric Building to the Jasper School Cafeteria due to the expected large turnout according to a release posted by the Harrison Daily Times.
The meeting will be held at 6:00 that evening to discuss some proposals that would see the Buffalo River transition from a National River to a National Park Preserve.
