A possible homicide victim is found in the middle of a road in northern Carroll County this week.

According to a release from Carroll County Sheriff Daniel Klatt, officers as well as medical personnel were dispatched to an area in Oak Grove where the body of 19-year-old Alexzander Bernhardt was located. Bernhardt was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Klatt adds that the case is being jointly investigated by his department and the Arkansas State Police as a homicide. The body is being sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab to determine the cause of death.
