Prosecutors in Howell County have filed charges against a former teacher in the Lutie School District who has been accused of inappropriate conduct with a former student in a nearby district.
According to the investigation, 30-year-old Victoria Fowler of Caulfield faces three felony counts of statutory rape and one felony count of statutory sodomy.
Investigators state Fowler admitted to having sexual contact with a teen on three separate occasions over the summer of 2023 and claimed the incidents occurred on a property in Howell County. She told investigators she met the teen at in a previous district where she had worked.
Fowler has been released from her position following the accusations.
