A Study in Nixa in February

A study is set to occur in Nixa; the Nixa government Facebook post detailing the study is available below.

Beginning February 7, 2023, WPS, an archaeological company, will be conducting a study on and around North St. in Nixa from Century Elementary to Cheyenne Rd. If you live in this area, it is possible you may see employees of WPS around your property.

This study is a federal requirement in order for the city to utilize federal funds for roads projects. This specific study is connected to the city’s plan for North St. improvements. The project is in the planning phase, but the goal is to level out the road and add sidewalks for pedestrian safety.
