About the event

LEGAL USE OF FORCE

Understanding the law regarding the use of a firearm is at least as important as knowing how to use one. Violating the law by using your firearm in the wrong way can cost you your money and your freedom. How you will respond during a violent encounter is also something you need to consider and be prepared for. In this Certified USCCA course, we will discuss the legal aspect of owning, carrying, and using a firearm in self-defense. Missouri Law will be covered in detail and we will answer all the common questions that people have. We will also cover what happens during a violent encounter and how to respond to it.
Topics Covered Include:
-Legal Definitions of Force and Deadly Force
-Justifying the Use of Deadly Force
-Missouri Law Regarding Firearms
-How Defense in the Home Differs from Outside the Home
-Understanding Fight or Flight
-The Physiological Reactions in Extreme Stress
-When You’re Left with No Other Choice
-When the Right to Use Deadly Force Ends
-The Immediate Aftermath
-Dealing With the Police
