Dolores Christine Nielsen was born October 29, 1949 in Bloomington, California to Andres & Amalia (Gutierez) Romo.
She grew up in Southern California and began her family there, later moving to Central California to be near her mother. In 1999, Dolores moved to Branson to be closer to family.
Dolores was a talented artist and loved drawing. She was a faithful Christian and never wavered in her prayer life or worship of Christ. Dolores will be remembered for the amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend that she was. She devoted her life to her family and she will be missed beyond measure.
Dolores entered into rest on May 11, 2022 at the age of 72 in Branson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sons, Benny Nielsen, Anthony Nielsen and Robert Gulserian; one granddaughter, Breanna; and four brothers, Danny, Martin, Jimmy and Andy Romo.
Dolores leaves behind her children, Alex Nielsen of Branson and Erica Nielsen of Branson; her sister, Rebecca Romo of San Bernardino, CA; brother Mark Romo of San Bernardino, CA; grandchildren, Stephanie Matlock, Erikka Nielsen, Phillip Nielsen, Jasmine Torres and Jason Torres; and great-grandchildren, Angel, Andrew, Aaron, Xander, Scarlet and Devyn.
A celebration of Dolores’ life will be Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Country Ridge Club House, 2550 State Hwy 248, Branson, MO 65616.
Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
