Wayne Morris Cleek, age 82, of Hollister, Missouri
Wayne Morris Cleek, age 82, of Hollister, Missouri, passed away June 20, 2023. He entered this life August 11, 1940, the son of William and Linnie May (Carter) Cleek in Bemis, Tennessee. Wayne was joined in marriage May 27, 1977, to the love of his life, Brenda Lee Wisham.
Wayne proudly served our country in the United States Army. He worked for United Parcel Service for thirty-one years before retirement. Wayne loved investing time with family, creating many fond memories of building a Lego world with his grandchildren. He enjoyed time exploring in the great outdoors, bird watching, working with leather, and painting. Wayne was an extraordinary son, father, grandfather, brother, and husband. He will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.
Wayne is survived by his son, Aaron Cleek of Hollister, Missouri; daughters: Shannon Schular of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Stephanie Cross of Jackson, Tennessee; sister, Mary Wiggins of Woodlands, Texas; stepsons: Jamie Brasher of Jackson, Tennessee, and Sam Brasher of La Vergne, Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his wife of forty-five years, Brenda Cleek; parents: William and Linnie May Cleek; and brothers, Rudy Cleek and Edward Cleek.
