Wayne Dennis Robello, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, at Hospice of the Hills. He was 73 years old.
Wayne was born on May 29, 1953, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Clem Robello and Nora Pedro (Robello).
There are truly no words that can fully capture what Wayne meant to the people who knew and loved him. He was the kind of person who was always there when someone needed him—the first to lend a hand, offer advice, or volunteer before anyone even thought to ask. Whatever he had, he gave freely. His generosity, kindness, and willingness to help others left an impression that will remain with his family and friends for years to come.
Wayne was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Jeannie. He cared for her faithfully and lovingly until the very end, demonstrating the depth of his love and devotion to her.
He was also a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Through every victory and every defeat, Wayne never wavered in his loyalty to his team. His love for the Steelers was a part of who he was, and fittingly, his ashes will rest in a Steelers urn.
Wayne leaves behind a legacy of love that reaches far beyond what words can express. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jeannie; his son, Paul; his four brothers; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with countless friends and loved ones whose lives were made better simply because Wayne was part of them.
He will be remembered not only for the roles he held as a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, but for the man he was—a
man who showed up, gave freely, helped without being asked, and loved his family deeply.
Though he is gone, the kindness he gave, the wisdom he shared, and the love he poured into those around him will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
