Travis Earl Bryant, age 83, of Cassville, Missouri

Travis Earl Bryant, age 83, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023 at home.

            He was born in Skene, Mississippi on January 4, 1940 the son of Jessie Cleveland and Ruby (Walker) Bryant. On July 10, 1964 in Greenville, Mississippi he was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Stepp, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Tracy Bryant of Cassville, Missouri and Kevin Bryant of Leland, Mississippi and five grandchildren.

            Preceding him in death were his parents, one son, David, one brother Gene and one sister, Darlene.

            Travis grew up and attended school in Skene, Mississippi graduating from Skene High School. He served in the United States Air Force. After returning home he was employed as a river boat captain on a tow boat on the Mississippi River for over thirty years from where he retired. Travis moved to this area in 2008 coming from Mississippi. He enjoyed being outdoors and was of the Baptist faith.

            No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
