Teresa Ann Schuttenberg, age 73, of Branson, Missouri


Teresa Ann Schuttenberg, age 73, of Branson, Missouri, passed away August 18, 2023, with family at her side. She entered this life in Ventura, California, September 9, 1949, the daughter of Howard and Maxine (Babcock) Bovee.

Born in California, Terri was in love with the beach and beach activities such as surfing. She loved to travel, go to the casino with friends, listen to the Beach Boys and Moody Blues, take care of her animals, and read. Terri was an artist who could draw and do cosmological work with her training. Terri met her husband to be, Mark, while he was in the Navy in China Lake, California. They were together for 54 years. She has resided in Branson since 1975 and has worked in Tourism for over 40 years including The Jim Stafford Theater and Branson Tourism Center, she was well known within the community and served on many Tourism Boards.  Terri was a talented seamstress and liked helping with others’ mishaps in their clothing. One of her greatest joys in life were being a mom and grandma. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Terri is preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Scott; and brother, Stephen Bovee.

She is survived by her daughter, Kristy (Tim) Parsons of Branson; grandson, Bailey Olson of Hollister, Missouri; three step-grandchildren: Tristen, Shaye, and Ayden Parsons; brother, Michael (Sandy) Bovee of Ventura, California; husband, Mark Schuttenberg of Branson, Missouri; along with many other nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

A celebration of life will be planned for a later time in both Branson, Missouri and Ventura, California. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks. To leave an online condolence or a memory, please visit
