Shirley Lavon Noyes, age 85, of Highlandville, Missouri

Shirley Lavon Noyes, age 85, of Highlandville, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on June 13, 2023. She entered this life on July 14, 1937, in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Robert Bishop and Mary (Maples) Shelton. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Charles Case; and second husband, Don Noyes.

With a talent for the arts, Shirley enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and painting wood cutouts that her husband created for her. She loved to discover her ancestry and spent many hours working on genealogy. Shirley was a member of First Central Baptist Church - Green Mound. She was devoted to helping the church and became their secretary. Shirley was a fantastic Nana and loving mother who was adored by both her husbands, children, and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Shirley is survived by her daughter, Janice Evans of Leavenworth, Kansas; son, Robert (Cristine) Case of Fair Grove, Missouri; and two stepdaughters: Pam Noyes-King of California and Robin (Jonathan) Packwood of Bois D’Arc, Missouri. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren: Kristian Evans, Kyle (Trisha) Evans, Jared (Celina) Evans, Daniel Case, Nicole Case, Natalie Case, David Bingham, Andrew Bingham, Nick (Amanda) White, Lydia (Mike) Bennett, Abby (Mark) Griffith, Anna (Alex) Berner, Jennifer Packwood, Jessica (Tanner) Stever, Nathan (Jessica) Packwood, Ryan King, and Joshua King; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, George (Bonnie) Bishop of Highland, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at First Central Baptist Church - Green Mound, 794 Hopkins Rd., Highlandville, Missouri, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements and cremations are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
