Sandra Lee Files Picou, 68 of Kirbyville.
Sandra Lee Files Picou, 68 of Kirbyville, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. She was born on May 15, 1953 in Waukegan, IL to William & Eva (Shipper) Files. On August 1, 1970, she married the love of her life, Dennis John Picou. They moved to Protem, MO in 1994 from Waukegan to pursue their dream of owning their own resort. They graciously hosted visitors at their resort, McBride Resort in Protem for many years.
Sandi was a hardworking and caring woman. She selflessly and lovingly raised her two children and was very involved in her granddaughter’s life, helping to raise her. Sandi was also an avid sports fan and especially loved to cheer on basketball and football.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dennis, brothers Donald Files and William Files and sister Regina Anderson.
Sandi will be deeply missed by her children, Dennis Michael Picou of Kirbyville and Sheila Picou of Kirbyville; her granddaughter Jaylin Picou of Kirbyville and brother Marvin Files of Waukegan, IL.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.
