Sally Jane Anderson, age 82, of Branson, Missouri

Sally Jane Anderson, 82, of Branson, Missouri, peacefully passed away on October 27, 2023, after a brief fight against pancreatic cancer. She was born on January 18, 1941, in Springfield, Missouri, to the late Elmer Ewing Anderson and Berniece Steen Anderson.

Sally was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was known for her modesty, hard work, and unwavering dedication to her family. For over 30 years, Sally worked diligently at ConTel Phone Company, leaving a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community.  She loved animals and could be seen feeding the birds in her backyard or gardening in her free time. 

Sally is survived by her loving brothers: David Anderson and Gerry Anderson; her devoted son, Kevin Francis, and daughter-in-law Dana Francis. She will also be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren: Beth Barnes, Taylor Gross, Jacyntha Gross, and Kyle Francis as well as her great-grandchildren: John Perry Barnes, Isaac Barnes, and Kaitlyn Saint.

Sally was preceded in death just 20 days by her beloved daughter, Kerry Lynn Francis. She also was preceded in death by her eldest son, Kelly Francis; her sister, Nancy Lawler; and her parents. 

Sally’s memory will live on through her family and the contributions she made to her community.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society (www.donate.cancer.org).   A private family memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at Hazelwood Cemetery, 1642 E. Seminole, Springfield, Missouri, for both Sally and her daughter Kerry.  May her soul rest in enteral peace.  Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
