Rudy Edford Stallings, age 72, of Shell Knob, Missouri.

Rudy Edford Stallings, age 72, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed from this life to his heavenly home, on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021. He was born on July 18th,1949, in Paris, Texas, to parents Efford Donald Stallings and wife, Dovey Aldene Stallings. Proceeding him in death are his parents and brother, Johnny Lee Stallings. He was joined in marriage to Donna Lavon Cloud on September 17th, 1976. 

Rudy graduated from Brewer High School in White Settlement, Texas in 1968. He loved sports and played football, soccer, and golf. Rudy retired as Plant Manager for Reddy Ice Corp. in Ft. Worth before moving to Rosston, Texas, and then to Shell Knob in 2004. 

He joined the First Baptist Church of Shell Knob in 2005. He has served as Deacon, Trustee, and many other positions. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor and his love for the Lord. 

Rudy is survived by his wife, Donna Stallings, and three children: Mindy Stallings of San Diego, Ca.; Kristy Stallings Rosenfeld and husband, Jonathan Rosenfeld; Thomas Donald Stallings and wife, Regina Stallings; grandchildren Matthew, Caitlyn, Cassandra, Emma, Thomas, Jonah, and Judah; and many other nephews, nieces, and cousins. 

A celebration of life will be 10:30 am October 23, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Shell Knob, Missouri, with Pastor Bob Gaddis officiating. Memorial contributions may be made in Rudy’s name to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org). Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Cremations of the Ozarks.
