Roger Gilbert Goodwin, age 42, of Cuba, Missouri

Roger Gilbert Goodwin, age 42, of Cuba, Missouri, passed away April 3 of 2023. He entered this life March 5, 1981, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Son of Judy Claire Nelson, Roger Goodwin and Annita Nichols (biological mother) whom all proceeded him in death.

Roger had a good heart, he enjoyed/wanted to help anyone he knew as there was no job too big for him. Roger loved going on hikes, finding new views and exploring the outdoors. He was a car guy with no fear of going fast. He was great at drawing them as well. Roger was a rock n roll fan, he was self taught on the electric guitar and was amazing at it. Roger worked at Mar - Bal Inc. as lead utility and was forklift certified. One of his favorite things to say was “winning!” And he had every right, he worked hard for everything he had. Roger had a creative soul with so much love to give and has touched many hearts.

Roger is survived by his son, Anthony Goodwin of Washington; daughter, Kylei Goodwin of Hollister, Missouri; mother of children, Crystal Goodwin of California; girlfriend, Jenn Voss of Cuba, Missouri; Biological dad, Tony Anderson; sisters, Heather Nichols, Michelle Duran, Stephanie Bowman, Darlene Anderson and Sammijo Redmond; brothers, Michael Nichols and Tony Anderson; aunts, Cheryl Short, Beverly Maxwell Tina and Angie Anderson; uncles, Eddie Maxwell and Chris Lewis all of Indiana.
