Richard “Rich” Neil Jacobsen, age 84, of Branson, Missouri

Richard “Rich” Neil Jacobsen, age 84, of Branson, Missouri, passed away March 31, 2023. He entered this life July 28, 1938, the son of Earl and Rose (Krenn) Jacobsen in Chicago, Illinois. Rich was joined in marriage August 28, 2003, to Nancy Jo Town.

Rich proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Nation Rifle Association and a true gun enthusiast. With great attention to detail, Rich excelled in yard work and creating objects with wood, including a fish tank that he designed and created. He enjoyed watching television and spending time with his two cats: Henry and Josie. The past eighty-four years that Rich shared with his friends and family will be treasured eternally.

He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Nancy Town-Jacobsen of Branson, Missouri; two sons: Kenneth Jacobsen of Tampa, Florida, and Richard (Cathy) Jacobsen of Valparaiso, Indiana; and one granddaughter. Rich is also survived by his stepchildren: Michelle (Richard) Strauss of Staunton, Illinois, Richard (Tammy) Clousing of Munster, Indiana, and Pamela (Brian) Dooley of Highland, Indiana; and nine step-grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 12:00 noon, at Friendly Baptist Church, Branson, Missouri.
