Randy Young, aged 67, passed away on July 22 in Reeds Spring, Missouri, after a courageous battle against cancer.
Randy was born on March 3, 1959, at Mercey Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to John & Karen (Lane) Young. During his life he called many places home: Council Bluffs, Iowa, Alliance Nebraska, Chicago Illinois, Detroit Michigan, Denver Colorado, Miami Florida, Orlando Florida, Forsyth Missouri, and Reeds Spring Missouri.
Our brother was one of a kind with an infectious humor and a mischievous onery streak that could make you laugh even when you were not trying to. He had a way of bringing laughter and life wherever he went, and his personality will never be forgotten.
Randy’s passion was being outdoors, especially fishing. Even if the fish were not biting, he cherished the peace, conversations, and memories that came with every trip. When Randy wasn’t fishing, he might be found watching his favorite NASCAR driver, the Chicago Bears, Kansas City Chiefs or the St. Louis Cardinals.
He was more than our brother; he was a part of our hearts and a large part of our families that can never be replaced. Randy will be remembered for the laughter shared, the stories he told, and the steady presence brought to those around him. We are left with countless memories that will continue to bring us comfort and smiles to those who knew him. We will always cherish the memories, the laughter the crazy moments, and all the times he made us smile.
Though our hearts are broken by his passing, we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to have him. His laughter, his humor, and that onery sprit will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him.
Randy is preceded in death by his grandparents; father and mother, John & Karen (Lane)Young; daughter Brandie Mae Young; niece Carissia Burton.
He is survived by son, Cody Young; daughters: Mariah Young and Sydney Urbeck; brothers: Danny Young (Stacy), and Ricky Young (Billie); sisters: Mindy Siders (Bruce), Vicki Ebling (Larry), and Shelly Underwood (Tim).

Rest easy brother. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
A private interment will be held in the future.
