Peggy O’Hare, age 82, Blue Eye, Missouri

Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, Peggy O’Hare, passed away at her home in Blue Eye on Friday, September 29, 2023 at the age of 82.
 
Peggy Carol O’Hare was born in Springfield, Missouri on June 15, 1941.  She grew up in Springfield and graduated from Parkview High School.  On June 15, 1973, Peggy married Keith O’Hare in Portales, New Mexico.  They returned to the Ozarks in 1999 from Roswell, New Mexico, moving to Blue Eye.  Peggy was a faithful member of the Kimberling City Church of Christ.
 
She was a beacon of kindness and love, always putting others before herself.  She was giving and selfless and never wanted to burden those around her. Peggy carried a great sense of humor that brought joy to everyone she knew. She was especially creative and artistic.  She found great enjoyment and peace in nature and loved the outdoors.

Peggy is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Keith O’Hare of Blue Eye; her children, Cindy Adams of Blue Eye, Kent Steadmon of McKinney, TX, Kirk Steadmon (Tiffany) of Kila, MT, and Heather Skipworth (Rusty) of Oswego, IL and her grandchildren, Lauren Frontz, Mandolin Skipworth, Mirabelle Skipworth, Halen O’Hare Skipworth and Brodey O’Hare Skipworth.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Helen Walton and her brother, Larry Walton.
 
The memory of Peggy's loving, kind, and selfless nature will forever be cherished by her family and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
 
A celebration of her life will be Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory, Branson.  Burial will be in Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery, Branson.
 
In Peggy’s memory, donations are requested to the Kimberling City Church of Christ, 7 Northwoods Dr, Kimberling City, MO 65686.
