Patricia “Joanne” Wilson-Voigt, age 81, of Ridgedale, Missouri, passed away October 19, 2023, in Forsyth, Missouri. She entered this life July 18, 1942, the daughter of Homer and Lucille (Young) Parton in Omaha, Arkansas.

Joanne had an eye for beauty, and at the young age of 17 attended beauty school and began her career as a beautician in Harrison, Arkansas and retired in Branson, Missouri.  Joanne created many connections with her clients, some becoming lifelong friends, as well as giving her grandsons their very first haircuts.  Joanne never really retired, she could often be found on the weekends with her family and friends doing their hair.

While working at Noel’s Barber shop in Branson, she met Ron Voigt who owned the Doll Depot across the street.  They fell in love and were united in marriage on September 21, 1996.  They retired in the early 2000’s and enjoyed traveling, taking several cruises with friends.

She was a Baptist who loved God with all of her being.  Joanne enjoyed going to garage sales, working her flea market booth, and loved cats, especially George. The memories and moments created over her lifetime will be forever cherished by all who knew her.

Joanne is survived by her husband, Ronald Voigt of Ridgedale, Missouri, son, Keith Wilson and wife, Colleen of Harrison,
