Nancy Kay Gautney, age 64, of Aurora, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 in Aurora, Missouri.
She was born July 9, 1957 in Doniphan, Missouri, the daughter of Bud and Wahnetta (Millwood) Shelton, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were one son, Kirk Majors; two brothers, Rob Shelton and Danny Shelton and one sister, Lisa Johnson.
Surviving are her life partner, Gary Benskin; two sons, Nicholas Majors of Purdy, Missouri and James Majors and his wife Jamey of Aurora, Missouri; two daughters, Alisha Woods and her husband Michael Drury of Cassville, Missouri and Jessica Majors of Crane, Missouri and one brother, Mark Shelton and his wife Tammy of Pierce City, Missouri.
Nancy grew up and received her education in Doniphan, Missouri. In 1973 she moved to the Aurora, Pierce City and Monett area where she was a homemaker and raised her children. She enjoyed cooking and sewing but most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Harvest Church of Aurora, Missouri.
A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
